Durham Region M&A Club Meeting

Join us for the Durham Region M&A Club Meeting

The Durham Region chapter continues to bring together professionals from across Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, and Whitby, as well as the broader Eastern GTA, for high-value discussions and meaningful connections.

These meetings are designed for M&A professionals, lenders, advisors, and executives actively involved in the deal ecosystem. Each session delivers practical insights on current market dynamics, combined with the opportunity to engage with a curated group of peers.

As the chapter continues to grow, our objective remains clear: to establish a consistent and high-quality forum where dealmakers can exchange perspectives, deepen relationships, and stay ahead of evolving trends in the mid-market.

Topic: Ready or Not - How to Exit or handoff the business you built

Speakers:
  • Danielle Walsh - MNP

Danielle is a member of MNP’s Private Enterprise team in Ottawa. A trusted advisor, Danielle helps family businesses with intergenerational succession planning, while supporting both family harmony and the long-term success of their business, to safeguard their legacy for generations to come.

Danielle works with family businesses of all sizes, in all industries, as well as with non-family-owned businesses. She advises clients on management and ownership succession, family communication, governance, readying the next generation to take over, and exit strategies.

Co-author of A Practical Guide to Family Business Succession Planning, Danielle acts as a quarterback to the entire process. She helps the whole family understand and support the overall plan, create transparency and open the door to honest communication.

  • Thomas Bevilaqua - Harmony Succession Partners

Thomas is committed to helping business owners retire successfully. He specializes in navigating the complexities of succession planning, maximizing exit value, preserving legacies, and ensuring that their next chapter is as successful as the first. While the majority of his career has been dedicated to assisting over 20 privately held business owners at a middle-market M&A firm, Thomas began his professional journey at Deloitte, CIBC, and MNP.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, playing hockey, and blowing off steam by splitting firewood up north.
