Topic:  Launch of the LIFT Program (Leveraging Innovation with a Focus on Technology)

• BDC is launching a new program aimed at supporting businesses in improving productivity and accelerating the adoption of technologies developed in Canada.
• The program will enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt artificial intelligence, digital solutions, and smart equipment, while also providing access to advisory services and preferential financing.
• In 2025, only 30% of SMEs had adopted artificial intelligence; however, those that did so achieved productivity levels that were 24% higher than their peers.
